Thanks to — and from — Alexandra’s Restaurants … and the *secret* maple bacon gelato recipe

Thank you *to* Alexandra’s

Thank you to the 90+ people who came out to the HoCoBlogs party last week at Alexandra’s Restaurant in Turf Valley. It was a lovely party in a wonderful space; the room was packed, but not too full. The music was pleasant though not overwhelming. The food was delicious. And while I can’t speak for everyone, the feedback I’ve received has been very positive. One person wrote and said, ” Always such a great collection of interesting people. And kudos to Alexandra’s for the food and hosting.” Yes, kudos to Alexandra’s for hosting. What a generous, professional and capable staff. A couple of blog posts about the party can be found herehere and here.

Here’s a message to the party attendees from Alexandra’s Restaurant: Thank you for coming out to last night’s HoCoBlogs event! We had a great time and have received a lot of great feedback.  Thanks for checking in, tweeting, posting your photos on Facebook, and blogging. We’re enjoying your photos, tweets, and blog posts!  The Maple & Applewood Bacon Gelato seemed to be the talk of the evening, so our Executive Chef Russell Svoboda decided to share his recipe. He recommends pairing it with buttermilk pound cake. Check out our blog to make this breakfast-flavored dessert at home, and let us know how it goes.
